Jiwa is currently open with a single accommodation, the Bamboo Bungalow. While we finish building the remaining four bungalows and yoga/retreat space on our property just up the road, our place is your personal sanctuary. Aside from the occasional day-package guest, Jiwa is yours alone. Explore our clean-flowing river, pool, sauna, and massage bale at your own pace; and enjoy an experience away from the chaos.

Please note there is no disturbance from construction up the road. The work is on a separate property, so you won’t be affected by any noise or activity. All facilities, activities, and excursions—aside from the retreat space—are fully operational and ready for you to enjoy
The Lodge
Jiwa Eco Escape is nestled on the verdant slopes of Mount Batukaru, above the stunning rice terraces of Karya Sari. Bungalows
Our six organically styled bungalows have been designed for comfort in the tropical forests that surround Jiwa's property. Farm-grown timber, bamboo, and other local materials are the foundation for accommodations, meant to allow for a true connection to nature. Generous living spaces meet partially open bathrooms, giving each bungalow the feel of luxury in this wild landscape.
Kitchen
​Our commitment to sustainability extends to our kitchen, The Blue Cup Warung. Taste the flavors of Bali through thoughtfully crafted dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Jiwa's gardens and local farmers supply a substantial part of what is served each day. Our menu offers something for everyone. The dining experience ensures a healthy approach while we consciously consider the path food takes to our tables.
Activities
​​​​​​While here, enjoy a variety of offerings from our lodge and beyond. Have a massage by the river or take a dip in Jiwa's natural living pool. We also offer a variety of excursions where guests can trek through Batukaru's rainforests, explore the majesty of local rice terraces and waterfalls, visit Belimbing's monkey forest, and discover all Pupuan's cultural treasures.​
Sustainability
At Jiwa, we embrace our role as nature's stewards. Mount Batukaru's rainforests are widely considered one of the last remaining, most intact, and largest tracts of primary rainforest on the island, and its water sources serve one third of all Bali. From recycled plastic pool decking to wastewater gardens throughout the property, learn more about our dedication to true eco tourism and the many ways in which we focus on reducing our impact here on the island.

We offer a variety of packages for interested guests and day-trippers. Have lunch on the balcony, and take a dip in our natural pool. We also offer massage and sauna combos. Packages are designed to provide options for guests wishing to stay with us as well as day-visitors to the stunning Pupuan area.
